As I sit here in my house in Florida, which is only a few miles north of Tampa, Saint Pete and the Rays are going into the World Series tomorrow night. I have trouble supporting my local sports team. Having been born and raised in Philadelphia and my family going back generations to pre-revolutionary war in Philadelphia, Newtown, and places that were not Philadelphia back then that are parts of the city like where the Byberry Friends meeting House is which is now considered the greater northeast part of the city. Therefore I have trouble supporting the local sports teams, the Buc, the Rays, etc. However, I will support all the little league and schools in the Tarpon Springs Florida area. I’ll just wear my Phillies necklace or my Eagles necklace when I wear that T-shirt. Sincerely, Mrs. Joanne Sykes Hackney.
